GHOST LINE OXFORD
Black patent leather, silver reflective fabric, red lamb leather, veg tan leather and red leather dye.
I chose the “open oxford” as my starting point. I was interested in exploring the idea of adding sneaker stylization to the exemplar formal shoe. I started by adding lines that echo those of running sneakers to a 2D drawing of an oxford. After that, I started to map these lines onto the actual pattern of an oxford shoe. this pattern was then divided by into different pieces according to the material they were going to be.
